LEMON TOASTS
 Preheat the oven to 350F.  In a mixing bowl whisk together the egg white and sugar until creamy.  Beat in the almonds, lemon zest  and juice and orange rind.  Place the brioche slices on a baking sheet and spread them with the creamed mixture.  Bake for 8-10 minutes.  Serve hot.

 

Ingredients: 
6 slices brioche
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups ground almonds
1 egg white
1 tsp lemon zest
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 piece candied orange rind, finely chopped 

Preparation Time 10 mn 
Cooking Time 10 mn 

Tip: 
Place the baking sheet on the middle rack of the oven and not higher.  Lemon toasts make an excellent family style dessert.
